X-Ray / MRI / CAT SCAN

X-rays, MRIs, CAT SCANs and other diagnostic tools may be necessary in order to properly evaluate and diagnose your condition. After twelve years of practice in Forest Hills, we have developed strong alliances with local orthopedists and diagnostic imaging centers that will allow us to order and schedule any necessary testing often in the same day.

We do offer additional diagnostics in office, such as musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound, which is fast becoming the in-office diagnostic tool of choice for its many benefits.  Diagnostic ultrasound is capable of identifying everything from major joints issues, to fractures, or disc injury, and is sensitive enough to detect even mild soft tissue tears, inflammation and swelling.  Unlike MRI and X-ray, diagnostic ultrasound is dynamic, allowing clinicians to move a joint or muslce during the exam to provide valuable information, and is safe enough to use on newborns.
